Zusammenfassung

Bitpanda is seeking an Expert, Treasury ALM to run the day-to-day engine of a multi-entity treasury function spanning traditional finance and digital assets.

You will manage liquidity across 12+ fiat currencies and 700+ digital assets, reporting to the Treasury Manager and bridging traditional banking frameworks with 24/7 crypto liquidity.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of hands-on treasury experience in corporate treasury or financial institutions.
• Experience managing asset-liability structures (ALM).
• Dual-asset fluency: traditional finance and digital assets.
• Strong knowledge of multi-entity regulatory frameworks (MiCAR, EMI, MiFID II).
• Proficient in Treasury Management Systems, banking APIs and blockchain analytics.

Your Mission

As our Expert, Treasury ALM, you will run the day-to-day engine of a multi-entity treasury function spanning traditional finance and digital assets. Reporting to the Manager of Treasury, you will manage liquidity and balance sheet operations across a multi-regulatory structure handling 12+ fiat currencies and 700+ digital assets. You will serve as a key subject matter expert bridging the gap between traditional banking frameworks and 24/7 crypto liquidity.

What You’ll Do

• ALM & Risk Execution: Manage duration and liquidity mismatches across traditional and crypto markets, monitoring the IRRBB framework and stress-testing the balance sheet against aggressive market pivots.


• Digital Asset Management: Monitor live crypto risk incidents under pressure, measuring real-time exposures and instructing prompt corrective measures on long and short positions.


• Financial Risk Contribution & Regulatory Reporting: Deliver strategic proposals to the Financial Risk Forum covering long‑term investments, ALM netting arrangements, and MMF allocations, while contributing directly to prudential requirements delivery.


• Technical Ownership & Collaboration: Drive treasury framework optimizations, refine analytical models, and act as an individual contributor subject matter expert in close collaboration with key internal stakeholders.


• Data Integrity & Reconciliation: Own the quality of the data feeding treasury and ALM reporting, ensuring figures reconcile cleanly across source systems, and diagnosing and remediating weak or semi‑manual data ingestion processes so that reporting is timely, accurate and audit-ready

Who You Are

• 3+ Years of Core Treasury Experience: You bring at least 3 years of hands‑on experience in corporate treasury or financial institutions, specifically managing complex asset‑liability management (ALM) structures.


• Dual-Asset Fluency: Deeply comfortable operating simultaneously in traditional finance (SWIFT, SEPA, physical/notional pooling) and digital asset markets (handling stablecoins and a broad spectrum of crypto assets).


• Regulatory Mastery: Strong working knowledge of multi‑entity regulatory frameworks, specifically MiCAR, EMI, and MiFID II, with direct experience handling capital compliance and risk appetite frameworks.


• Data & System Savvy: Experienced in leveraging Treasury Management Systems (TMS), banking APIs, and blockchain analytics to maintain early‑warning indicators like Hedging Efficiency Dashboards.


• Fluent in English: Professional working proficiency in written and spoken English.
