Expert Thin Film Equipment Operation & Maintenance (f/m/d), Weilheim in Oberbayern
Job Description:

What to expect:

  1. Responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle management of thin film module relevant equipment, including technical assessment/selection, introduction, phase-in, hook-up, tuning, and maintenance.
  2. Responsible for capability building and team management related to thin film module equipment. Build team structure and sustainably grow the competitiveness in equipment technology.
  3. Provide technological insights and plan relevant manufacturing equipment to stay aligned with industrial trends, preparing key equipment technology and building core know-how.
  4. Manage equipment upgrades, modifications, or second-source substitutions to enhance efficiency, stability, and throughput, and solve critical technological issues.
What you bring along:
  1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a similar discipline within the semiconductor industry.
  2. Over 12 years of experience in semiconductor thin film equipment introduction or development. Experience with SiC and silicon product introduction or production is preferred.
  3. Successful mass production experience in leading factories is highly beneficial.
  4. Good understanding of high-temperature CVD, PVD, and evaporation equipment.
  5. Familiarity with industry equipment suppliers and understanding of equipment design architecture.
  6. Ability to independently improve equipment and analyze and solve online machine and product abnormalities.
  7. Experience in training new employees and leading team members to complete scheduled work. Experience in team development and daily technology management is preferred.
  8. Hands-on mentality and an open mindset for cross-cultural work environments.
  9. Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; German and/or Chinese language skills are a plus.
  10. Willingness to undertake international business trips or delegations.
