The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley, we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp-up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The tasks and requirements of Corporate Quality are varied. The unit is responsible for all quality-related activities of PowerCo SE, ranging from the development of the quality strategy and targets to safeguarding certification readiness and global supplier management.
How You Will CELLebrate
- Provide quality support for components during the development phase, from sampling to approval.
- Support quality assurance of components at suppliers across plants during series production.
- Assess suppliers during the award process regarding their quality capability and production competence, in coordination with the purchasing department.
- Control product quality requirements and develop corrective measures to meet goals.
- Plan cross-functional preventive quality activities, including audits in supplier projects and approval audits at suppliers.
- Oversee the industrialization of components at suppliers and ensure maturity through on-site visits.
- Manage and process corrective actions at suppliers in case of complaints.
- Develop, coordinate, and decide on overarching quality methods and concepts to achieve project and company goals.
- Continuously communicate the development of component maturity within PowerCo SE committees and to suppliers.
What You Need For Our CELLebration
- Completed studies in chemistry, chemical engineering, process engineering, production engineering, materials science, or a comparable qualification.
- Extensive experience in quality management within the automotive sector (ISO9001, IATF16949, VDA6.3).
- Knowledge of supplier quality, support, and auditing processes.
- Experience in the chemical industry.
- Experience in electromobility and battery cell technology.
- Strong teamwork skills.
- Fluency in English.
- Confident demeanor, assertiveness, and initiative.
- Willingness to travel.
What Else Can You Bring
- Certified VDA6.3 auditor.
- Solid knowledge of structured error analysis/remediation methods (Six Sigma, Shainin).
- Extensive experience in electromobility and battery/battery cell technology.
