We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Linux Infrastructure Engineer with expertise in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for maintaining the robustness of our Linux server infrastructure. The role requires working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and global 24x7 environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed Root Cause Analysis to identify, analyze, and resolve complex Linux infrastructure issues.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Linux-based systems performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose issues and implement solutions.
• Create RCA reports, documentation, and knowledge base articles.
• Automate diagnostic and resolution processes using scripting and configuration management tools.
• Ensure security, compliance, and OS hardening across infrastructure.
• Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate best practices.
• Mentor junior team members and document technical procedures.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience in system diagnostics and RCA.
• Deep knowledge of Linux internals, kernel architecture, and system calls.
• Proficiency with monitoring tools (top, htop, vmstat, etc.) and logs (journalctl, syslog, etc.).
• Strong understanding of networking, security principles, and virtualization technologies.
• Experience with scripting languages (Shell, Python, Perl) and infrastructure automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Terraform).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and related services.
