The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley, we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp-up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The CTO organization is responsible for battery cell development, including research, predevelopment of materials and components, series development, prototyping, testing, and analysis of battery cells.

How you will CELLebrate

• Develop technical requirements and specifications for battery cell components in cell assembly
• Manage transfer of product specifications to process feasibility
• Prepare product/process gap analysis and risk analysis (DFM/NPI)
• Lead technical feasibility studies in cell assembly and support ramp-up of B- and C-sample production
• Represent development in all necessary project committees related to the interface between development and production

What you need for our CELLebration

• Degree in engineering (mechanical, production, chemical, environmental technology, supply engineering, or comparable education)
• Work experience in process technology for manufacturing battery cells at a mass production scale
• Experience in measurement technology from stacking to cell assembly and welding
• Strong team collaboration skills and a willingness to work in an innovative and international environment

Intercultural competence and readiness for international travel to support production sites.
