The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The Purchasing unit is the interface to the supplier market and is thus responsible for a large part of the value creation. The responsibilities range from raw material purchasing to supplier management and plant purchasing to value engineering.
How You Will CELLebrate
- Lead the procurement of energy, particularly Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), utility contracts, and similar energy-related products and services
- Manage end-to-end supplier processes: RfI, RfQ, negotiations, and contract evaluations
- Establishment and management of strategic suppliers for PowerCo’s energy supply
- Cross-functional interaction with various internal and external stakeholders
- Presentation of procurement strategies and outcomes in PowerCo committees
What You Need For Our CELLebration
- University degree in economics, industrial engineering, energy economics, energy management or in a comparable field
- Experience in energy procurement and European power markets
- Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
- Fluent in English (German and Spanish are a plus)
What Else Can You Bring
- Experience with PPA origination, negotiation, and relevant contract types, pricing structures, risk allocation options, and guarantees of origin (GoOs)
- Familiarity with relevant players (esp. utilities and renewable energy developer) in the European energy sector
