The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. In this, the tasks and requirements of operations are varied. Operations takes care of all production related activities within the battery cell production. Our responsibilities vary from planning, constructing and rolling out the forthcoming battery cell factories. Furthermore, planning and implementing operating functions such as logistics, quality, production and plant management is also key elements within the area of operations.
How You Will CELLebrate
- Plan, steer and control the global supply of productive material from the suppliers to our battery cell production locations
- Analyze the entire supply chain for potential supply risks and initiate trouble shooting measurements in case of material shortages (Material Shortage Management)
- Direct contact to suppliers and logistics service providers in terms of problem solving and supply chain management
- Control the empty returnable container management with the suppliers
- Responsible for smooth face-in and face-out of material changes and control of inventory and stocks for obsolete material
- Create and align processes and procedures with cross-functional and cross-divisional internal and external business partners
What You Need For Our CELLebration
- Minimum of 3 years professional experience in supply chain management, preferably in material planning, logistics production planning and/or pre-series logistics
- Advanced knowledge in MRP systems, preferably in SAP S4 Hana
- Professional language skills in English and German (written and oral)
- Additional language skills in Mandarin Chinese
- Strong analytical understanding and problem-solving skills
- Highly passionate to question status-quo and initiate continuous improvement in existing processes and create new processes within a dynamic industry
