Expert in IT solution design with a focus on the Innovation Lab (f / m / d)

Salary group A 12 BBesO / Pay group 12 TVöD Bund, Identifier : ZEOP.ZEIT2210 / 120001, Job ID 1297559

The position is permanent according to the collective agreement for the public service (TVöD Bund) in pay group 12. Depending on the applicant situation, an additional temporary specialist allowance of up to 1,500 euros per month may be considered.

The Bundesanstalt für Immobilienaufgaben (BImA) is the federal government's real estate service provider, supporting real estate policy objectives and managing land and buildings for federal authorities. In the IT division's Innovation Lab, we develop creative, practical solutions for future challenges. As an IT solution designer, you will drive innovation, strategy, and technology forward with us.

Your responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing innovative IT strategies
• Planning and moderating innovation workshops (e.g., Design Thinking, Lean Startup)
• Collaborating with departments, IT, management, external partners, start-ups, and research institutions
• Identifying trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance innovation
• Coordinating and executing projects in interdisciplinary teams, including milestone planning, risk analysis, and reporting
• Supporting strategic IT topics such as security, personnel deployment, and budget planning
• Managing the IT solution design process and contributing to service, strategy, and method development

These tasks require strategic, solution-oriented working methods and strong communication and coordination skills.

We work flexibly and remotely, with occasional business trips planned in advance to maintain work-life balance.

What you bring:

• Completed university degree (bachelor's or equivalent) in computer science, business informatics, industrial engineering, economics, communication sciences, or related fields, or a qualification for higher technical service
• At least 3 years of practical IT experience, knowledge of innovation techniques (e.g., design thinking), software development, ITIL service design, agile methods, application interfaces; certifications are a plus
• Knowledge of IT law, compliance, data protection, and security; good command of English technical terminology; familiarity with Jira, SharePoint, SAP, or PEGA advantageous
• Independent, service-oriented, motivated, organized, communicative, and socially competent
