RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking an experienced Expert for our Global Mobility Vendor Management Team to oversee and manage vendor relationships related to global mobility programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing vendor performance, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, and aligning our global mobility programs with our company's goals and objectives.
- You develop and maintain strong relationships with global mobility vendors, including relocation service providers, immigration firms, and other third-party service providers. You negotiate contracts and service-level agreements (SLAs) to ensure effective vendor billing globally and that terms meet organizational requirements.
- You develop and maintain vendor scorecards and performance metrics to track vendor performance against targets. You continuously assess and improve vendor management processes to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and service delivery. You conduct regular performance reviews and collaborate with vendors to implement improvements.
- You identify and mitigate risks associated with vendor management to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to global mobility services.
- You work with finance and procurement teams to manage the vendor service budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining quality. You are responsible for prompt payment of vendor invoices to avoid late fees and penalties.
- You collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure vendor services align with company goals and objectives.
- You stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in global mobility and vendor management.
- In collaboration with the Global Business Travel Team, you drive and develop BASF's vendor steering approach.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in global mobility vendor management or related fields
- Strong vendor management skills, including negotiating contracts, managing relationships, and vendor billing
- Excellent project management skills, especially managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders
- Solid understanding of financial reports, global mobility programs, and industry trends
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
