Job summary

Exyte GmbH invites an experienced EHS professional to join our team in Germany. You will oversee safety programs for high-tech industry projects, coordinating with management, contractors, and safety advisors on site.

The role requires a Master/Engineer level education, formal EHS qualifications, and willingness to travel for extended on-site assignments. Strong German (and good English) skills are essential to succeed in this international environment.

Qualifications

• Master/Technician/Engineer degree required.
• Professional experience in EHS within major industrial, construction or manufacturing industries.
• Ability to work in teams of different cultural backgrounds, hierarchical levels, and skill sets.
• Formal EHS qualification (SiFa, Nebosh, Safety degree, etc.)
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint
• High assertiveness and high social competence
• Very good German skills, good English skills
• Willingness and ability to travel and stay on site over longer time-period

Responsibilities

• Consulting of management, project management and construction management on EHS topics.

• Functional lead of Exyte Project EHS Advisors and coordinators.
• Support of the PM and implementation of the EHS basic values of Exyte.
• Prepare and provide contractually required documentation in the scope of EHS.
• Organization of weekly safety coordination meetings and recording and communication of results; tracking of actions.
• Collaboration with the local authorities

Explore your tasks and responsibilities
