Expert Beet Reception Data (m/w/d)

As the key user of "Argi!og", a business-critical program in the beet supply chain for all factories in the Norzucker group, this role will be responsible for all sugar beet data from the time the beets are received until the start of production. While the position is being published in Germany, this role can be filled in any of the various European Nordzucker locations.

Area of Responsibility:

• Key user in the Agri division for beet reception systems regarding the flow of beet data
• Assume responsibility as 2nd level support for experts in Agri-centers regarding agri!og, field nomination, weighbridge- and tarehouse-system
• Coordinate and moderate with management at frequent stakeholder meetings
• Collaborate with IT and other key stakeholders to ensure all systems are prepared for the annual sugar campaign
• Steer and follow up on improvements of programs and systems, ensuring that all milestones are kept
• Test all respective systems after changes, updates, and developments
• Support management by running special Agri-logistic tasks to ensure a group-wide aligned approach
• Participate in Nordzucker’s effort to decarbonize the beet logistic chain and in executing sustainability tasks

The ideal candidate (m/w/d):

• Has a degree in agricultural sciences, agri-business, international business, industrial engineering, digitalization or a comparable qualification
• Good knowledge of agriculture and beet cultivation is considered a plus
• Is characterized by a data-driven mindset and is able to communicate with Nordzucker IT and external partners on an equal footing
• Has initial experience in working with IT and business teams
• Is motivated to work in an agile team and to go the extra mile with them at all times
• Can think locally and across departments and is flexible and resilient, especially during the sugar campaign
• Is a team player and enjoys participating in project events and regular meetings, both remotely and on site - depending on the project phase and requirements
• Has a good command of English (professional level) - other languages are an advantage
• Has advanced knowledge of MS Office, SAP, Web & App environment, ideally also knowledge of project management tools (Jira & Confluence)
