Who will you be joining?

The Accounting Hub as part of Group Accounting and Reporting in H2 is a central provider of accounting functions for Allianz entities worldwide. We offer financial services and are a center of competence for investment and subledger accounting, closing & reporting, and financial systems development.

The team Finance Systems Overarching manages core SAP finance applications, supports the evolution of the finance landscape, and is involved in the Group initiative SimpliFi.

This role ensures finance requirements are translated into successful technology solutions, supporting operational and project environments to adapt or define finance solutions.

How can you make an impact?

• Define, drive, and deliver financial solutions and optimized processes in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring thorough testing and documentation.
• Set up automated closing processes in ERP systems and analyze error resolutions.
• Review audit findings, identify actions, and implement mitigations with stakeholders.
• Manage SAP authorizations and processes.
• Participate in and lead project streams within your expertise area.
• Support the Group initiative SimpliFi on data models, accounting data flows, and closing processes.
• Help establish OE operational processes under SimpliFi.

What are you made of?

Minimum Qualifications:

• University degree or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of accounting systems, preferably SAP.
• Analytical thinking and numeracy skills.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• High-level finance and insurance understanding.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with the SimpliFi initiative.
• Background in business functions like sales, operations, claims, underwriting, etc.
• Experience with ChatGPT, Generative AI, and Ethical AI solutions.
