Future Mind is looking for an experienced (mid/senior) DevOps Engineer to join our team in Germany, with the option to work fully remotely. You will help set up and optimize secure cloud-based development environments, collaborating with development and SRE teams on multiple projects.

Diagnose incidents, develop preventive policies, and automate monitoring and incident resolution. Proficiency in Linux/Unix, Docker, Proxmox, Terraform, Kubernetes, and scripting (Python or Bash) plus solid English

Qualifikationen

• Experience in setting up, managing, and optimizing cloud-based software development environments (Azure, GCP, AWS).
• Experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or similar databases.
• Expert Linux/Unix skills and working knowledge of Docker, Proxmox, Terraform, Kubernetes.
• Scripting proficiency in Python or Bash.
• Strong DevOps understanding and ability to communicate in English.

This job is all about:

• setting up and optimizing safe and secure cloud-based development environments, including servers, databases, monitoring and supporting tools for Future Mind projects in cooperation with development and SRE teams,
• diagnosing and resolving incidents and developing policies, solutions, and procedures to prevent failures,
• automating and constant optimization of monitoring and incident resolution systems and processes.

What we're looking for:

• experience in setting up, managing, and optimizing cloud-based software development environments - Azure, GCP, AWS,
• experience in working with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and similar database solutions,
• expert skills in Linux/Unix and working knowledge of Docker, Proxmox, Terraform, Kubernetes,
• good command of a scripting language, e.g. Python, Bash,
• solid understanding of the DevOps methodology,
• good command of English, that will allow you to communicate with clients and peers and read specs,
• good communications skills - we want you to interact with the people you work with, help them do a better job,
• great attention to detail, consistency, and accuracy,
• creativity and proactiveness - good ideas and constructive remarks are always welcome!
