At ai|coustics, we’re building the quality layer for Voice AI. Our AI-powered speech technology turns any audio - live or recorded - into studio-quality output in real time. Since our launch, we’ve built a community of over 500,000 users, have processed more than 2 million audio files and signed contracts with leading audio brands like Elgato, Radio France International or Deutsche Welle. We’re an in-person team of audio and technology enthusiasts based out of Berlin. We love being in the office, hanging out together and learning from each other everyday.

We ship fast. All of our work is novel and cutting edge, and execution speed is paramount. The ideal start date for this position is May 15, 2025.

Tasks

• End-to-End Delivery: Architect, develop, and deploy both server-side and client-side components, ensuring they integrate flawlessly.
• Frontend Development: Build interactive UIs with Svelte, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS, delivering responsive and accessible interfaces.
• Backend Services: Design and maintain FastAPI-based microservices and PostgreSQL schemas in AWS environments.
• Full-Stack Testing: Establish automated testing frameworks (Playwright for E2E, Storybook for component tests) to maintain high code quality.
• Mentorship & Code Reviews: Review pull requests, mentor junior developers, and enforce coding standards across the stack.

Requirements

• Full-Stack Expertise: 4+ years building production applications end-to-end in a startup or agile setting.
• Frontend: Strong skills in Svelte, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS.
• Backend: Python and FastAPI (or equivalent frameworks), PostgreSQL.
• Cloud: AWS, Docker, Kubernetes
• Testing: Solid experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end tests. For frontend testing we like to use Playwright and Storybook
