Siemens Energy is seeking an Experienced Financial Analyst to join the global finance team, reporting to the Head of Performance Controlling. You will lead monthly actuals, forecasts and budgets, consolidating data from sites, and delivering executive-level summaries to support strategic decisions.

The role requires a balance of technical finance skills, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to drive continuous performance improvements across geographies and systems.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; MBA/CPA preferred.
• Proven experience in financial planning, reporting, forecasting and controlling.
• Experience in multinational environments is a plus.
• Strong communication and stakeholder influence to drive change.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, MS Office and ERP systems; knowledge of Power BI/Alteryx/SAC is a plus.
• Fluent in English.

A Snapshot of Your Day

As an Experienced Financial Analyst (f/m/d), you will be part of a collaborative global finance team reporting to the Head of Performance Controlling with opportunities to influence cross-functional initiatives. This is a pivotal role in driving financial transparency and strategic insight across the Steam Turbines and Generators business. You’ll lead the analysis and reporting of monthly actuals, forecasts, and budgets, consolidating data from all sites with the ability to condense and deliver executive-level summaries. Your work will directly support senior leadership in understanding the financial impacts across diverse accounting systems and geographies, enabling informed decision-making and introducing continuous performance improvements.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Execute monthly actuals, forecast, and annual budget processes in close collaboration with global sites and functional teams
• Drive forecast accuracy and financial transparency by partnering with stakeholders and identifying improvement opportunities
• Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights that align figures with the business narrative
• Analyze KPIs, perform ad-hoc financial analyses, and support strategic initiatives to improve business performance
• Prepare and present compelling monthly and quarterly executive reports for senior leadership
• Champion digitalization and process efficiency by optimizing reporting workflows using financial systems, digital tools, and LEAN methodologies

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; MBA, CPA, or equivalent certification preferred
• Proven experience in financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and controlling with a clear understanding of accounting principles
• Experience working in a matrixed or multinational environment, particularly in commercial project management, commercial sales or operations is a plus
• Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and knowledge sharing as well as skilled communicator able to convey complex financial concepts effectively.
• Demonstrated ability and creativity to influence stakeholders and drive change
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, MS Office, ERP systems; experience with Power BI, Alteryx, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is a strong advantage
• Fluent in English
