Your Job
Define, oversee, and coordinate engineering and construction activities as a subject matter expert for electrical power generation, including co-generation power plants and distribution.
Collaborate with the operations and maintenance teams to ensure continuous uptime of all electrical systems by coordinating project and system improvement activities.
Provide engineering support for all electrical systems, offering technical guidance to engineers, technicians, and contractors during the construction and operation phases.
Review and update existing site electrical documents, including specifications and basis of design.
Develop site electrical basis of design and specifications.
Work closely with design and engineering teams to ensure projects meet operational electrical needs, maintain system maintainability, and ensure seamless commissioning and startup of electrical systems to support fab operations.
Identify and implement cost control measures while maintaining operational requirements through EVC / FAC operations.
Manage and execute electrical projects across all phases, from scope development to project close-out.
Perform all activities safely and responsibly, supporting all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
Support electrical systems for Fab equipment modules and facilities teams, including mechanical, chemical, gases, and ultra-pure water systems.
Ensure compliance with all relevant city, state, and federal regulations.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
Minimum 7, ideally 10+ years of relevant experience.
Experience in engineering, installation, operation, commissioning, and maintenance of low, medium, and high voltage electrical equipment and distribution systems, including co-generation power plants.
Experience with brownfield projects.
Ability to effectively interface with functional teams, customers, contractors, and suppliers.
Strong organizational skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed (less than 5% annually).
Language proficiency in German and English (written and verbal, C1 level).
