Qualifikationen

• 4+ Jahre Erfahrung in der Buchhaltung, vorzugsweise in einem schnell wachsenden Umfeld.
• Starkes Wissen über Finanzberichte, Budgetierung und Buchhaltungsprinzipien.

Aufgaben

• Verwaltung der Vorbuchhaltung und Sicherstellung der Zusammenarbeit mit dem externen Steuerbüro.
• Erstellung von monatlichen und jährlichen Finanzberichten in Zusammenarbeit mit dem externen Steuerbüro.

About the Job

We are looking for anExperienced Accountant (m/f/d) to join the finance team of our portfolio company.

In your day-to-day work, you'll focus on managing pre-accounting, financial statements, and cash flow analysis while ensuring compliance with HGB standards.

Our client is a German dual-use technology company that develops unmanned ground vehicles to drive automation in both governmental and civilian sectors. In this role, you’ll:

• Manage pre-accounting by recording and processing financial transactions with the Spend Management tool to support bookkeeping. While the core bookkeeping tasks are managed by the external tax office, you oversee the process and ensure smooth cooperation
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly and annual financial statements and work closely with the external tax office to coordinate, review, and finalise financial reports
• Handle customer invoicing, review and maintain payment records, monitor overdue accounts, and initiate collection procedures as needed
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards and financial regulations while tracking, analysing, and reporting plan/actual variances
• Monitor financial performance to ensure revenue and profitability targets are met within agreed spending limits
• Analyse cash flow using Agicap, prepare liquidity planning reports, and provide management with cash balance and cash flow updates
• Assist with financial reporting and tax-related matters as required

Your Profile

• You have 4+ years of experience as an accountant, preferably in a fast-growing environment
• Strong knowledge of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and bookkeeping principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with financial tools is a plus
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to take initiative and ownership of projects and processes
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Fluency in German and English is required

Please note that we are looking for support in theMunich office of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
