The Opportunity

We’re looking for a skilled and enthusiastic sales professional to join our collaborative, high-energy team as an Account Manager. In this role, you will focus on prospecting and growing an assigned territory by selling exhibit space, sponsorships, and meeting space across our portfolio of industry-leading events – including Global Security Exchange (GSX), our flagship event drawing over 475 vendors, 16,000+ attendees, and measuring over 145,000 net square feet of exhibit space. You’ll build strong, consultative partnerships with clients and deliver excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience. Your efforts will center on achieving sales goals, growing revenue, and strengthening brand loyalty to ASIS through strategic, solution-oriented sales strategies. Tools such as HubSpot CRM, Map-Your-Show, and other systems will help you manage your sales pipeline, track client engagement, and drive performance.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage a defined sales territory by actively selling exhibit space, sponsorships, and meeting packages across ASIS events, with a focus on both retention and growth.
  • Prospect and engage new companies—especially those not currently participating in ASIS events or inactive in recent years—through outbound calls, emails, virtual meetings, and research-driven outreach.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of leads using tools such as HubSpot, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, and competitive show lists to identify opportunities across key industry sectors.
  • Cultivate relationships with current and prospective partners by delivering excellent customer service and high-quality communications.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and pipelines in HubSpot and Map Your Show systems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to fulfill contracted deliverables and ensure a smooth partner experience.
  • Represent ASIS at industry events (limited travel required, approximately 10–15%).

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years’ experience in B2B, event, or sponsorship sales with a track record of building and maintaining relationships.
  • Strong record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Prior experience working with an exhibition on a similar size and scale as ASIS.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (preferably HubSpot) and exhibit management tools.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills
  • Must be a good problem solver and facilitator, with excellent critical thinking and analytical skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and client needs simultaneously
