Professional requirements
- Define international/global mission & strategies, incl. regular review based on changes of in-/external factors
- Define strategic targets & key strategic initiatives (incl. operational dependencies, CAPEX/OPEX impact …) & track process
- Used to lead and execution in a comprehensive way of M&As / partnership projects/ negotiations in cooperation with the M&A group company (incl. multibillion investments)
- Participation in defining further development of the group strategy in cooperation with Group Strategy & strategy directors from Civil & Defence
- Evaluation of the feasibility of new business models & technologies
- Persuasively project management experience – leading large crossfunctional project teams for M&A (e.g. Due Diligence) & strategic projects
- Accountable for the on time finalization & content correctness of the yearly strategic planning process
- Convincing leadership skills, able to win buy-in of different interest groups & communicate persuasively & succinctly also at Board level – right of proposal & recommendation for all tasks to ExCom
Personal requirements
- Smart & very analytical person – Diploma in economics, industrial engineering or engineering with MBA
- Strong (people) leadership capabilities – Identification & development of talent for the strategy team
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset – ambitious, keen to win impact, persistence
- Empathetic & solution-oriented person – convincing communication & presentation skills – create enthusiasm
- International & open mindset
- German & English languages skills, understanding of German
- Typically 10 experience in Capital Goods, Automotive, Defence or Aerospace or in Strategy Consulting
