Responsibilities

As an Account Manager for the Global Account Siemens (m/f), your tasks will include:

  1. Strategic & conceptual responsibility:
  • Analyzing client needs based on market information and customer intimacy
  • Defining the account strategy in close collaboration with the Company Portfolio Units
  • Planning measures for the strategic development of the customer
  • Orchestrating the selling team in collaboration with the Company Portfolio Units
  • Providing reliable forecasts
  • Operational responsibility:
    • Implementing the account strategy
    • Identifying and closing new business across all client business units
    • Building and maintaining client relationships up to top management level
    • Executing measures for the strategic development of the customer
    • Accountability for order entry (> 35mEUR p.a.)
    • Accountability for revenue (> 35mEUR p.a.)
    • Accountability for profitability
    Profile

    We seek candidates with a successful sales career of over 5 years as an Account Manager, with experience managing a Global or Large Key Account, and the following skills:

    • Experience dealing with international Key Account customers
    • Preferably, good knowledge of the Siemens customer base
    • Excellent knowledge of the Manufacturing Industry
    • Entrepreneurial thinking combined with business acumen
    • Fluency in English
    • Intercultural skills, with above-average willingness and ability to travel
    • Knowledge of IT portfolios and vertical processes (Automotive & Manufacturing)
    • Strong communication, implementation, and enforcement skills
    • High level of initiative
    • Focus on solutions and self-organization
    • Ability to build networks
    • Ability to generate enthusiasm at all organizational levels
