Job summary

PER in Frankfurt seeks a senior investment executive to lead the DACH region as its local ambassador, focusing on cybersecurity and software opportunities. You will build a platform, source deals, and drive value creation across portfolio companies.

You will oversee transactions from thesis to close, chair boards, and collaborate with management teams, advisers and co-investors, while supporting fundraising and investor relations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in private equity, growth equity or technology M&A with a track record of leading deals.
• Deep understanding of software and technology business models.
• Established network in the German-speaking technology ecosystem.
• Board-level experience and a hands-on approach to working with portfolio companies.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and the drive to build a local platform.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to develop junior team members.
• Excellent written and spoken German and English language skills are a must.
• Fundraising experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead transactions from start to finish: investment thesis, due diligence, valuation, structuring, negotiation and closing.
• Take board seats and work with management teams on value creation, buy-and-build and exit strategies.
• Build relationships across the German speaking technology ecosystem.
• Support fundraising and investor relations.
• Monitor current and newly acquired DACH portfolio investments and support value creation.
• Carry out divestment operations and manage exit strategies.
