Job Title: Event Operations Team Leader

Join the prestigious Grand Hotel Heiligendamm, located on the North German Baltic Sea coast, renowned for its harmonious natural surroundings and luxurious ambiance since 1793. As part of our team, you will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional events and guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead our Event Operations team to ensure seamless event execution.
  2. Serve as the primary contact for staff, colleagues, and guests regarding operational event matters.
  3. Coordinate and oversee various events, including weddings, outdoor and indoor functions with up to 300 guests, conferences, and private dinners.
  4. Assist in planning and executing events in collaboration with the Event Sales team.
  5. Train staff, trainees, and interns in the Event Operations department.
  6. Ensure effective communication with all departments to maintain quality standards.
  7. Develop staff work schedules and duty rosters.
  8. Maintain relevant professional experience in the event sector, preferably in catering or resort environments.
  9. Demonstrate positive demeanor, enthusiasm, and motivation.
  10. Exhibit guest and service orientation, communication, and teamwork skills.
  11. Proficient in PC applications, especially in event management software.
  12. Provide emergency childcare support in our Kids' Villa.
