Job Description: Event Operations Manager at Grand Hotel Heiligendamm

Join the prestigious Grand Hotel Heiligendamm, located on the stunning North Sea coast of Germany, as our Event Operations Manager. Since 1793, our hotel has been a symbol of luxury and excellence, offering an elegant environment and hosting various cultural and social events.

As part of our team, you will:

  1. Lead our Event Operations Team
  2. Serve as the main contact for staff, colleagues, and guests regarding all operational aspects of events
  3. Coordinate and execute a range of events, including weddings, outdoor and indoor functions with up to 300 guests, conferences, and private dinners
  4. Support the planning and execution of events in collaboration with the Event Sales Team
  5. Train staff, trainees, and interns in the Event Operations area
  6. Ensure effective communication with all departments
  7. Maintain high-quality standards
  8. Prepare duty rosters for the department

Requirements include relevant experience in event management, excellent PC skills, positive demeanor, enthusiasm, strong communication and team skills, and a guest-service orientation. Additionally, the role involves caring for children in emergencies at our Kids' Villa.
