Job Title: Event Operations Manager

Grand Hotel Heiligendamm, an iconic destination on the North German Baltic Sea coast, is seeking a dedicated Event Operations Manager to lead our Event Operations Team. Since 1793, our hotel has been a premier choice for discerning travelers seeking a luxurious and elegant environment. Located directly by the sea, our resort hosts various events, art, and cultural activities, offering an exclusive experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead our Event Operations Team
2. Serve as the main contact for staff, colleagues, and guests regarding operational event matters
3. Coordinate, oversee, and execute various events such as weddings, outdoor and indoor functions with up to 300 guests, small to medium conferences, and private dinners
4. Support the team in planning and executing events in collaboration with the Event Sales Team
5. Train staff, apprentices, and interns in the Event Operations area
6. Ensure effective communication with all departments
7. Maintain quality standards
8. Prepare staff schedules for the department
9. Bring relevant experience in the event sector, preferably in catering or resort settings
10. Maintain a positive attitude and enthusiasm
11. Demonstrate engagement and high motivation
12. Exhibit genuine guest and service orientation, communication, and teamwork skills
13. Possess excellent PC skills, especially in event management software
14. Provide emergency childcare support in our Kids' Villa
