Your profile

• You have successfully completed a degree or comparable apprenticeship, preferably in the fields of business or event management.
• You have gained relevant experience in project management and are able to manage projects independently.
• You have relevant professional experience in event management, ideally in the areas of needs analysis, program planning, event direction and speaker management.
• You have a high willingness to learn, a hands-on mentality and a solution-oriented approach and are characterized by your entrepreneurial thinking and actions.
• You have a structured and independent way of working and strong analytical skills.
• You have a talent for communication and find it easy to get in touch with stakeholders and network in German and English.

Your tasks

In your role asEvent Manager (m/f/d), you will be largely responsible for the program and implementation of the Impact Festival - Europe's largest B2B event for sustainable innovation. You will work closely with the internal project team, partners and external speakers to develop an inspiring program and ensure smooth processes.

Your tasks include:

• You will incorporate your project management skills and your creativity into the design and planning for the Impact Festival (needs analysis, development of new formats, etc.) - from the initial idea to the final schedule.
• You will identify suitable speakers, approach them and support them before, during and after the event.
• You are responsible for the planning, implementation and follow-up of subprojects of the Impact Festival.
• You will ensure that the Impact Festival runs smoothly by taking responsibility for communication with participants, speakers, external partners and service providers and supervising the organization of the event on site.
• You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to create a coherent and high-quality event experience.

Not required, but certainly helpful

• You have gained experience in an agile environment and have a strong personal passion for sustainability.
• You have experience in creating media concepts and an eye for graphic design.
• You have experience in selecting, commissioning and managing service providers.
