Aspire Ltd in Berlin is seeking an experienced Event Director to lead the operational delivery of large-scale international events. You will own the end-to-end operations journey from planning through execution and scale the team to meet ambitious growth targets.

Location: Berlin (relocation considered). The role requires managing a flagship 6,000+ attendee event, budgets, suppliers and partnerships within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

• 5+ years of experience delivering large-scale conferences or trade shows (2,000+ attendees).
• Strong operational leadership and team management experience.
• Experience owning budgets and P&L responsibilities.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

The Role:

You will take ownership of the operational strategy and delivery of major events, including:

• Leading and growing an event operations team
• Managing the delivery of a 6,000+ attendee flagship event
• Overseeing logistics, suppliers, venue operations, catering, AV, registration, and attendee experience
• Owning budgets, forecasting, cost management, and event profitability
• Negotiating with suppliers and managing key partnerships
• Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Content, and Product teams to deliver outstanding outcomes

About You:

We're looking for someone with:

• 5+ years' experience delivering large-scale conferences or trade shows (2,000+ attendees)
• Strong operational leadership and team management experience
• A proven track record of managing suppliers, budgets, and complex event delivery
• Commercial awareness with experience owning P&L responsibilities
