WeAreAspire, a rapidly growing European Deep Tech & AI events business, seeks an experienced Operations Manager to own production and delivery of large conferences across Europe.

You’ll lead end-to-end event production, manage substantial budgets, negotiate with suppliers, coordinate floorplans and AV, and steer on-site teams to ensure seamless experiences for 6,000+ attendees.

The role is hands-on and requires real ownership, travel across Europe, and relocation to Berlin if needed.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years' experience in event operations or production.
• Track record delivering conferences/exhibitions/trade shows with 1,000+ attendees.
• Comfort with significant budgets, supplier negotiation and on-site leadership.

If you've spent your career making complex events look effortless, this could be your next challenge.

I'm working with a rapidly growing European Deep Tech & AI business that is scaling its event portfolio across Europe - and they're looking for an experienced Operations Manager to take ownership of the production and delivery of some seriously impressive events.

This isn't a role where you'll simply book suppliers and tick boxes.

You’ll be the person making sure:

• The venue is transformed from an empty space into a world-class event
• Suppliers deliver exactly what was agreed
• Budgets are controlled and negotiated effectively
• The build schedule stays on track
• 6,000+ attendees can move around the event seamlessly
• Sponsors and exhibitors get exactly what they've been promised
• The on-site team knows exactly what they're doing
• Problems are solved quickly when things inevitably go off plan
• The event opens on time - and looks incredible when it does

What we're looking for

You'll ideally have 4+ years' experience in event operations or production, with a track record of delivering conferences, exhibitions or trade shows with 1,000+ attendees.

You'll be comfortable with:

• End-to-end event production
• Significant budgets & cost control
• Supplier negotiation & management
• Build, breakdown & venue logistics
• Leading large on-site teams
• Attendee experience
• Floorplans, staging, AV & production
• Making decisions under pressure

This is a hands-on senior role. You'll work closely with leadership and have genuine ownership over how these events are delivered.

Location

Berlin

You must already be based in Berlin or be genuinely willing to relocate.

The role will also involve travel to other European event locations.

German is advantageous, but not essential.
