About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic European Sales Manager to lead our client’s European market expansion in Building Automation. Our client is a renowned Swiss manufacturer of innovative building automation products, and this unique position is tailored for an entrepreneurial spirit ready to operate independently while driving significant growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Drive the establishment of our client's brand in Europe, focusing on the DACH region and France, with the aim of building a strong market presence.
  2. Manage the entire sales process, leveraging your expertise to independently develop strategies that align with corporate goals.
  3. Recruit, train, and oversee an inside sales representative, fostering a collaborative environment focused on high performance and motivation.
  4. Cultivate relationships with OEMs and distributors, ensuring effective two-step distribution models and maximizing market penetration.
  5. Set and achieve ambitious revenue targets, with €500,000 as your first-year goal and sustained growth towards €5 million within five years.
  6. Lead the development of our client's German office, establishing operational protocols and a culture of excellence within the team.
  7. Report directly to senior management, providing updates on key performance metrics, project milestones, and overall market development progress.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience in sales leadership roles, ideally within the Building Automation or related sectors.
  2. Strong track record of successfully launching and developing new markets or business lines.
  3. Exceptional organizational and leadership skills, with a clear ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating collaboration across diverse stakeholders.
