The EUDR & FSC Solutions Officer will be part of FSC Asia Pacific, helping the market understand FSC's EUDR Solutions and facilitating companies' compliance with EUDR in Indonesia.

This position reports to the FSC Country Director and the FSC Asia Pacific Deputy Regional Director, working closely with FSC Indonesia's Technical Director and FSC Asia Pacific's EUDR Policy & CoC Manager in Hong Kong.

Main Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the implementation of the EUDR conformity support strategy for Indonesia.
• Serve as the primary contact and technical expert for EUDR policy and FSC Solutions in the country.
• Represent FSC at relevant events and engage with stakeholders, including certificate holders, certification bodies, industry associations, and government entities, to ensure the implementation of FSC solutions.
• Identify and act on development opportunities, such as webinars and training sessions, to enhance market uptake of FSC solutions.
• Provide advice and support to the Country Director to promote FSC solutions.
• Occasional domestic travel may be required.

Qualifications

• A university degree in forestry, supply chain management, sustainability, or related fields.
• Experience in supply chain management and market development.
• Knowledge of global forest product trade policies and regulations, including EUTR/EUDR.
• Understanding of FSC policies, programs, and certification systems is advantageous.
• Knowledge of the forest product value chain, with familiarity in tropical wood and natural rubber products, is a plus.
• Service-oriented attitude, with analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written); Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.

The Fine Print

Location: Jakarta/Bogor, Indonesia

Working Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week

Contract: 1 year, starting as soon as possible

Travel: Occasional domestic travel required
