Position: EUDR & FSC Solutions Officer - Asia Pacific

This role will be part of FSC Asia Pacific, helping the market understand FSC's EUDR Solutions and facilitating company compliance with EUDR in Indonesia. The position reports to the FSC Country Director and the FSC Asia Pacific Deputy Regional Director, working closely with FSC Indonesia's Technical Director and FSC Asia Pacific's EUDR Policy & CoC Manager in Hong Kong.

Main Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the implementation of the EUDR conformity support strategy for Indonesia.
• Serve as the primary contact and technical expert for EUDR policy and FSC Solutions in the country.
• Represent FSC at relevant events and activities, engaging with stakeholders including certificate holders, certification bodies, industry associations, and government agencies to ensure FSC solutions are implemented effectively.
• Identify opportunities for development or capacity building, such as webinars and training sessions, to enhance market uptake of FSC solutions.
• Provide advice and support to the Country Director to increase the adoption of FSC solutions.
• Occasional domestic travel will be required.

Qualifications

• A university degree in forestry, supply chain management, sustainability, or related fields.
• Experience in supply chain management and market development.
• Knowledge of global forest product trade policies and regulations, including EUTR/EUDR.
• Understanding of FSC policies, programs, and certification systems is an advantage.
• Knowledge of the forest product value chain, including tropical wood and natural rubber, is a plus.
• Service-oriented attitude with analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written); Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
