The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is a globally recognized non-profit organization leading the promotion of sustainable forestry. With over 150 million hectares of certified forests, FSC is committed to ensuring the health and resilience of the world's forests.

The EUDR & FSC Solutions Officer will be part of FSC Asia Pacific, helping to market FSC's EUDR Solutions and facilitate companies' compliance with EUDR in Indonesia.
This role reports to the FSC Country Director and the FSC Asia Pacific Deputy Regional Director, working closely with FSC Indonesia Technical Director and FSC Asia Pacific EUDR Policy & CoC Manager in Hong Kong.

Main Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the EUDR conformity support strategy for Indonesia.
• Serve as the primary contact and technical expert for EUDR policy and FSC Solutions in the country.
• Represent FSC at relevant events, engaging with certificate holders, certification bodies, industry associations, and government to ensure FSC solutions are implemented.
• Identify and develop capacity-building activities such as webinars and training sessions to promote FSC solutions.
• Provide advice and support to the Country Director to increase market uptake of FSC solutions.
• Occasional domestic travel will be required.

• A university degree in forestry, supply chain management, sustainability, or related fields.
• Experience in supply chain management and market development.
• Knowledge of global forest product trade policies and regulations, including EUTR/EUDR.
• Understanding of FSC policies, standards, and certification systems is advantageous.
• Knowledge of the forest product value chain, especially tropical wood and natural rubber, is a plus.
• Service-oriented attitude with analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written); proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
