The EUDR & FSC Solutions Officer will be part of FSC Asia Pacific, helping the market understand FSC's EUDR Solutions to facilitate companies' compliance with EUDR in Indonesia.

This position reports to the FSC Country Director and the FSC Asia Pacific Deputy Regional Director. The candidate will also collaborate closely with the FSC Indonesia Technical Director and the FSC Asia Pacific EUDR Policy & CoC Manager in Hong Kong.

Main Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the implementation of the EUDR conformity support strategy for Indonesia.
• Serve as the primary contact and technical expert for EUDR policy and FSC Solutions in the country.
• Represent FSC at relevant events and activities, engaging with stakeholders including certificate holders, certification bodies, industry associations, and government agencies to ensure FSC solutions are implemented effectively.
• Identify and act on development opportunities such as webinars and training sessions to enhance market uptake of FSC solutions.
• Provide advice and support to the Country Director to promote FSC solutions.
• Occasional domestic travel will be required.

Qualifications

• A university degree in forestry, supply chain management, sustainability, or a related field.
• Experience in supply chain management and market development.
• Knowledge of global forest product trade policies and regulations, including EUTR/EUDR.
• Understanding of FSC policies, programs, and certification systems is an advantage.
• Knowledge of the commercial forest product value chain, especially tropical wood and natural rubber, is a plus.
• Service-oriented attitude with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written); proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
