ESG / Sustainability Manager (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

1. Develop sustainability strategies and implementation plans for portfolio companies of AURELIUS and support them throughout their individual ESG journeys.
2. Support portfolio companies in the implementation of sustainable supply chain approaches and climate change strategies.
3. Create ESG reporting systems and collect ESG data (especially for UK and EU legislations) in collaboration with portfolio companies.
4. Be responsible for AURELIUS reporting obligations and support further internal ESG tasks concerning the integration of ESG along the investment cycle (e.g. ESG Due Diligence).
5. Be part of the growing ESG team and manage ESG projects independently with various internal stakeholders.

Profile

1. Successfully completed master's degree in business administration or a comparable subject.
2. (First) professional experience in management consultancy or auditing companies in the field of sustainability.
3. Knowledge of relevant sustainability standards and legislations (especially ESOS, SECR, other ESG UK legislations).
4. Experience in setting up sustainability strategies and management systems, implementing ESG reporting systems, sustainable supply chain concepts and/or climate change strategies is an advantage.
5. Relevant experience in project management with team members from different backgrounds.
6. Very good MS Office skills.
7. Fluent in English, basic knowledge in German is an advantage.
8. Willingness to travel to portfolio companies.
