Our client, an internationally expanding company with a strong presence in the Medtech sector, is seeking an experienced ERP Systems Manager to lead the full implementation and optimization of a new ERP system. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional eager to build an ERP infrastructure from the ground up, ensuring seamless integration with existing business-critical systems.

ERP Systems Manager Responsibilities:

1. Take full ownership of the end-to-end implementation of a new ERP system, from initial selection and planning to deployment and long-term optimization.
2. Collaborate with internal teams to analyse business needs, define system requirements, and develop scalable ERP workflows.
3. Configure and customize the ERP system to align with business processes, ensuring security, compliance, and efficiency.
4. Establish and maintain data integrity through structured audits, reporting mechanisms, and automated controls.
5. Train and support internal teams on ERP usage, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring user adoption.
6. Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline recurring tasks and reporting processes.
7. Act as the primary point of contact for ERP vendors and implementation partners, managing relationships and contract negotiations.
8. Oversee system integration with key platforms such as CRM, HRIS, and data warehouses to enable seamless data flow across departments.

ERP Systems Manager Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in IT, business administration, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing ERP systems, with proven expertise in full-cycle ERP implementation from the ground up.
3. Strong knowledge of ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday, or Microsoft Dynamics.
4. Deep understanding of finance and German accounting principles, including revenue recognition, group consolidation, P&L, balance sheets, taxes, and audit compliance.
5. Extensive project management experience, with the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations.
6. A proactive problem solver with a structured and analytical approach to troubleshooting complex system challenges.
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
8. Fluency in English and German (preferred), with the ability to interpret regulatory requirements.
9. Experience with automation technologies, such as Robotic Process Automation (e.g., UiPath), is a plus.
