DeepCamp, a Germany-based rocketry startup, seeks an ERP Specialist to own and continuously improve our Dynamics 365 F&O environment. You will connect ERP to MES/PLC layers and support production, finance, procurement, and quality teams.

You will optimize integrations, build extensions and reports, and provide first- and second-line user support while ensuring data quality across the system and processes.

Qualifications

• Experience with Dynamics 365 F&O or similar ERP (SAP, etc.).
• Knowledge of production control, procurement, inventory, finance or project accounting modules.
• Experience building or maintaining system integrations (REST/OData APIs, data import/export).
• Strong documentation and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Dynamics 365 F&O: configuration, security roles, master data, batch jobs, environment management.
• Build and maintain integrations between Dynamics 365 F&O and MES/PLC, logistics, purchasing, reporting tools and external systems.
• Support production processes in ERP: production orders, BOMs, routings, traceability, inventory movements.
• Develop and maintain extensions and reports (X++, data entities, Power BI) to close gaps.
• Manage updates, QA and release testing with IT and ERP Lead.

We are looking for an ERP Specialist to maintain, integrate and continuously improve our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations environment. You will be the day‑to‑day owner of the system: you keep it running, connect it to the shop floor, and turn user requests into working, tested changes. You will work directly with production, finance, procurement and quality. If a material is booked wrong or an order does not reach the line, you are the person who finds the root cause and fixes it. We are building our first production facility in Steyerberg, Lower Saxony, and are applying our knowledge toward serial production of solid rocket motors. Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Dynamics 365 F&O: configuration, security roles, master data, batch jobs and environment management.
• Build and maintain integrations between Dynamics 365 F&O and the MES/PLC layer, logistics and purchasing partners, reporting tools and external systems.
• Support production processes in the ERP: production orders, bills of materials, routings, batch and serial traceability, and inventory movements.
• Develop and maintain extensions and reports (X++, data entities, Power BI) to close functional gaps.
• Manage updates, quality updates and release testing together with IT and the ERP Lead.
• Provide first‑ and second‑level user support and training, and document processes and configurations.
• Monitor data quality and integration health, and resolve incidents through root‑cause analysis.

What we are looking for

• Professional experience administering or implementing Dynamics 365 F&O or a comparable ERP (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics AX).
• Working knowledge of at least two modules: production control, procurement, inventory, finance or project accounting.
• Experience building or maintaining system integrations (REST/OData APIs, data import and export, middleware).
• Structured problem‑solving and strong documentation habits.
• The ability to work independently and handle several user requests in parallel.
• A degree in business informatics, computer science, industrial engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Desirable experience X++ development experience and Dynamics 365 F&O certification.
• Azure Integration Services or Power Platform.
• SQL and data analysis.
• PLC, SCADA or MES data integration.
• Experience in regulated or hazardous‑materials manufacturing.
• Working proficiency in German.
