Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced ERP specialist / consultant in finance with a strong background in accounting. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining our SAGE database, managing the deployment of new finance modules, including configuration, testing, and user training. This role is crucial in supporting our operations and finance teams through seamless data integration and reporting.

• Database management: Perform comprehensive data maintenance and cleanup within the SAGE 100 database.
• Data integration: Support bidirectional integration of third-party applications and contribute to data migration to Workday, which is currently in progress.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the accounting team to maintain data integrity and accuracy.
• Training & documentation: Develop and deliver training sessions for users, including finance and operations teams; create user guides and process documentation.
• Data analysis: Generate exports for further analysis by the controlling department.
• Optimisation: Provide recommendations for database improvements and system performance enhancements.
• Educational requirements: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, information technology, or a related field.
• Technical expertise: Proficiency in SQL and data management, with experience in SAGE 100 software preferred.
• Analytical skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Communication & collaboration: Excellent communication skills to work effectively across teams and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Organisation: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, with a proactive approach.
