Equity Sales Trader (m/f/d)

The role of an Equity Sales Trader involves taking orders from institutional clients in listed securities (equities, ETFs, fixed income). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Building and maintaining relationships with institutional clients, including global hedge funds, asset managers, pension funds, family offices, banks, and brokers
• Locating liquidity for large/less liquid securities
• Communicating trading ideas and interpreting investment opinions from Baader research reports; conveying relevant market information to clients promptly
• Collaborating closely with Sales, Sales Trading, and Trading colleagues in Munich, London, Frankfurt, and New York
• Traveling frequently to meet clients
• Identifying new business opportunities and participating in marketing efforts, including trading conferences
• Holding a bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in finance or related fields; financial fieldwork experience is advantageous
• Having at least 5 years of experience in a similar role within a financial institution
• Possessing knowledge of financial markets, especially European markets, and staying updated on current affairs
• Having a strong network of clients in Switzerland, ideally including local family offices
• Being able to pass regulatory exams
• Understanding market structure and infrastructure
• Understanding client investment behaviors and orientations
• Demonstrating innovative and creative problem-solving skills
• Having a customer-oriented, proactive personality
• Being a good team player
• Fluent in English and German; Swiss German is a plus
