Equity Sales Trader (m/f/d)

The role of an Equity Sales Trader involves:

1. Building and maintaining relationships with institutional clients, including hedge funds, asset managers, pension funds, family offices, banks, and brokers.
2. Locating liquidity for large or less liquid securities.
3. Communicating trading ideas and interpreting investment opinions from Baader research reports to clients; conveying relevant market information in a timely manner.
4. Collaborating closely with Sales, Sales Trading, and Trading colleagues in Munich, London, Frankfurt, and New York.
5. Traveling frequently to meet clients.
6. Identifying new business opportunities and participating in marketing efforts, including trading-specific conferences.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in finance or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role at a financial institution.
• Knowledge of financial markets, especially European markets, and current affairs.
• Strong network of existing clients in Switzerland, especially local family offices.
• Ability to pass regulatory exams.
• Experience with market structure and financial infrastructure.
• Understanding client investment behavior.
• Innovative, creative problem-solving skills.
• Customer-oriented, proactive, and team-oriented mentality.
• Fluent in English and German; Swiss German is a plus.
