Equity Sales Trader (m/f/d)

The role of an Equity Sales Trader includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

1. Build and maintain relationships with institutional clients, including global hedge funds, asset managers, pension funds, family offices, banks, and brokers.
2. Locate liquidity for large or less liquid securities.
3. Communicate trading ideas and interpret investment opinions from Baader research reports to clients; convey relevant market information in a timely manner.
4. Collaborate closely with Sales, Sales Trading, and Trading colleagues in Munich, London, Frankfurt, and New York.
5. Travel frequently to meet clients.
6. Identify new business opportunities and participate in marketing efforts to promote the firm's equity trading services, including trading-specific conferences.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in finance or related field; relevant work experience is advantageous.
2. At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within a financial institution.
3. Strong knowledge of financial markets, especially European markets, and current affairs.
4. Existing network of clients in Switzerland, ideally including local family offices.
5. Ability to pass regulatory exams.
6. Experience with market structure and infrastructure.
7. Understanding of client investment behavior.
8. Innovative problem-solving skills.
9. Customer-oriented and proactive attitude.
10. Team player.
11. Fluent in English and German; Swiss German is a plus.
