Job Description:

We are seeking an Equity Sales Trader (m/f/d) for our Zurich office. The role involves managing orders from institutional clients in listed securities (equities, ETFs, fixed income). Responsibilities include:

• Building and maintaining relationships with institutional clients, including hedge funds, asset managers, pension funds, family offices, banks, and brokers.
• Locating liquidity for large or less liquid securities.
• Communicating trading ideas and investment opinions from Baader research reports to clients, and providing timely market information.
• Collaborating closely with Sales, Sales Trading, and Trading colleagues across Munich, London, Frankfurt, and New York.
• Traveling frequently to meet clients.
• Identifying new business opportunities and participating in marketing efforts, including trading conferences.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in finance or related field; relevant experience is advantageous.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within a financial institution.
• Knowledge of financial markets, especially European markets, and current affairs.
• Strong network of existing clients in Switzerland, especially local family offices.
• Ability to pass regulatory exams.
• Experience with market structure and financial infrastructure.
• Understanding client investment behavior.
• Innovative problem-solving skills, customer-oriented, proactive, and team-oriented attitude.
• Fluent in English and German; Swiss German is a plus.
