Job Description:

We are looking for an Equity Sales Trader (m/f/d) for our Zurich office. The role involves taking orders from institutional clients in listed securities (equities, ETFs, fixed income). Responsibilities include:

• Build and maintain relationships with institutional clients, including hedge funds, asset managers, pension funds, family offices, banks, and brokers.
• Locate liquidity for large or less liquid securities.
• Communicate trading ideas and interpret investment opinions from Baader research reports; provide market information to clients promptly.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Sales Trading, and Trading teams in Munich, London, Frankfurt, and New York.
• Travel frequently to meet clients.
• Identify new business opportunities and participate in marketing efforts, including trading conferences.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in finance or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within a financial institution.
• Knowledge of financial markets, especially European markets, and current affairs.
• Strong network of clients in Switzerland, ideally including local family offices.
• Ability to pass regulatory exams.
• Experience with market structure and infrastructure.
• Understanding client investment behavior.
• Innovative problem-solving skills.
• Customer-oriented, proactive, and team-oriented mentality.
• Fluent in English and German; Swiss German is a plus.
