Qualifikationen

This Position Reports To:

Production Engineering Specialist

Your Role and Responsibilities

In your role as a production equipment designer, you take on a crucial function in the further development of production, particularly in the area of our flow products. Additionally, you play a significant role in the advancement of our actuators, positioners, temperature transmitters, and sensors. Your influence extends from Minden, NRW, Germany to international contexts. You work independently within a team to develop new concepts and design production and testing equipment, actively contributing to continuous improvement. Furthermore, you take primary responsibility for our state-of-the-art flow calibration stands in the water and air sectors.

1. Conceptualization and development of production equipment/testing equipment with a focus on measurement and control technology, particularly in the area of flow technology.
2. Creation of comprehensive concepts that consider technical, economic, and project-related aspects.
3. Continuous improvement of existing testing systems and their technical support.
4. Ensuring the seamless integration of new products into existing or new manufacturing processes.
5. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and external partners to develop innovative and efficient solutions.
6. Ensuring compliance with quality standards and guidelines in all development phases.

Qualifications for the Role

• Completed degree in electrical engineering or a similar field with a focus on measurement and control technology.
• Professional experience in the conceptualization and development of production equipment, ideally in special-purpose machine construction or a related industry (e.g., Electrical Engineer, Software Developer for Automation Technology, Mechatronics Engineer, Automation Engineer, Production Engineer).
• Extensive knowledge in the areas of control technology, sensor technology, actuator technology, and measurement technology, with a particular focus on flow measurement.
• Knowledge in programming and application of control systems.
• Team player with excellent communication skills.
• Fluent German language skills, both written and spoken, and good English language skills, both written and spoken.
