Qualifikationen

In your role as “Epitaxy Equipment Engineer (all genders),” you will be the experienced expert with a focus on electrical engineering or mechanics, significantly contributing to the operation of the epitaxy systems in the application laboratory. You will have the opportunity to participate in the further development and improvement of new system types. Your profile is rounded off by knowledge in the maintenance and service of complex technical systems. Your responsibilities include accompanying the installation of new systems or system components in the AIXTRON application laboratory and supporting laboratory processes with logistical and organizational tasks.

Your Challenge:

1. You ensure the operation of semiconductor and epitaxy systems in the application laboratory.
2. You assist in the installation, commissioning, and modification of systems as part of new developments.
3. You perform repair and maintenance work on complex technical systems.
4. You plan and implement routine tasks as well as prototype installations.
5. You ensure the availability of all necessary materials and spare parts.
6. You collaborate with colleagues from the development and production departments to promote cross-departmental knowledge exchange.
7. You further develop existing system types and participate in the development of new system types.

What You Bring:

1. You have completed vocational training as a mechatronics technician, industrial mechanic, or a comparable technical qualification.
2. You bring experience in the maintenance and service of semiconductor or epitaxy systems.
3. You are familiar with handling special gases and chemicals used in semiconductor processes.
4. Your responsible and precise working style ensures stable laboratory operations.
5. You possess strong organizational skills and a hands-on mentality.
6. Ideally, you are already fit for respiratory protection according to G 26.3 (heavy respiratory protection) for activities in clean rooms.
