Qualifikationen

Job Description

1. Lead and manage the Brainlab Environmental Management System (EMS), ensuring compliance with ISO 14001:2015 and relevant EU and international regulations.
2. Develop, monitor, and report on Environmental KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
3. Plan, execute, and manage internal and external environmental audits, ensuring implementation of corrective actions as needed.
4. Conduct environmental impact assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
5. Oversee pollution control, waste management, and resource consumption to enhance sustainability efforts.
6. Ensure compliance with electronic waste, batteries, and packaging regulations, maintaining all necessary documentation and reporting.
7. Respond to customer environmental inquiries and questionnaires.
8. Support the supplier selection process, evaluating sustainability and environmental compliance aspects.
9. Manage and lead various environmental and sustainability projects to enhance corporate responsibility.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in environmental management, ideally within a certified ISO 14001:2015 environment.
3. Strong knowledge of EU and international environmental regulations.
4. Experience in auditing and compliance reporting.
5. Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct impact assessments and implement sustainable improvements.
6. Excellent organizational and project management skills.
7. Strong communication skills in German and English to collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
