Responsibilities:

1. Specify environmental constraints for equipment (Lightning, electromagnetic hazards, mechanical or climatic, etc.)
2. Review and create equipment qualification documents, including:

• Qualification Plan (QP)
• Qualification Test Procedure (QTP)
• Qualification Test Reports (QTR)
• Declaration of Design and Performance (DDP)
• Installation Declaration of Design and Performance (IDDP)

Create Flight Clearance Notes (FCN)

Serve as the main technical contact between SDR and the supplier, as well as with the safety department regarding environmental threats

Job Requirements

Required Skills and Experience:

• Electrical/Electronics Engineering Degree or similar qualification
• Knowledge of electromagnetics is a plus
• Knowledge of aeronautic environment is a plus
• Familiarity with aeronautic standards (DO-160, MIL-STD 461, etc.) is a plus
• Fluent English required; German and/or French is a plus
• Project management skills and responsiveness to supplier/client inquiries
• Location: Donauwörth – Remote work possible
