You will be:
- Driving reputation and visibility of the platform and brand with renewables and environmental market trading participants across GoOs, certificates etc.
- Actively identifying new prospects, following up on client visits and pitching/business development & sales process, continuously demonstrating the best of the platform to corporate, industrial and institutional clients with activity in the space
- Encouraging trader participation in the platform to increase liquidity
- Coaching the wider team on the nuances of the environmental space, offering support and guidance to senior management, operations and tech teams
- Managing and hitting revenue targets on the environmental segment, whilst working with other cross-energy teams on cross-sell opportunity
- Keeping up to date with market news, movements and geopolitics to remain a trusted and understanding figure in the environmental commodity trading markets
- Attending industry events and conferences, representing the brand and demonstrating the benefits of the trading platform.
We would love to speak to you if you have:
- A thorough knowledge and deep understanding of the GoOs/Certificates space
- Previous experience in a commercial capacity (broker, trader, sales representative, business development, origination etc.) within the environmental or renewables arena
- Commercial focus, with experience in driving revenue/PnL on an outbound desk
- A good network in the environmental trading space
- Fluency in English/additional languages beneficial but not required
- The ability to relocate to Germany (remote possible in certain geographies)
