Job Title: Environment, Health and Safety Manager - Graduate Program

Job Location: Düsseldorf, Germany

Main Responsibilities:

• Organize, coordinate, and monitor the Environment Health and Safety (EHS).
• Active contribution to an environment protection plan focusing on all aspects of the lifecycle of electrical systems (WEEE directive, REACH regulation, Battery acts, Control system EAR).
• Communicate within the Huawei organization and with customers, subcontractors, and project teams on all aspects of the environmental/occupational health and safety management system in a timely manner.
• Organize the regular reporting to the project managers about the operation status and improvement requirements of the EHS management system.
• Conduct supplier EHS management system audits as well as EHS onsite assessments.
• Willingness to acquire the official certificate for safety experts under DGUV regulation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering with focus on Environmental or Occupational Safety.
• First touching points with EHS requirements and legal compliance of Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Willingness and ability to coach, support and train managers and subcontractors with regards to EHS management awareness, legal compliance and best practice.
• Ability to develop and effectively deliver EHS trainings.
• Flexibility and ability to prioritize and balance multiple ongoing tasks.
• Fluency in both German and English mandatory.
