Demodesk in Munich offers an Entrepreneur in Residence internship where you work directly with the founders to test 0-to-1 opportunities. You’ll move quickly from ambiguity to a tested bet, with a view to a full-time role built around your own initiative.

You will speak with customers and operators, craft decision-ready memos, and use AI to accelerate research and delivery. The program pays a competitive internship stipend and includes direct exposure to a growing AI-enabled SaaS business.

Mission

Most internships put you next to a function. This one puts you next to a bet.

You will work with our founders as an Entrepreneur in Residence: pick a 0-to-1 opportunity, pressure-test it, and either make it real or kill it with evidence. That might be a new vertical, a new go-to-market motion, a new product surface, or a wedge into a market we have not owned yet. You will not be assigned a ticket queue. You will be handed ambiguity and expected to turn it into a decision. This is a founder apprenticeship. You sit in the rooms where strategy gets made, you talk to customers and operators, you use AI to move faster than a typical intern ever could, and you own the outcome. If a task can be automated, we automate it. What is left is judgment. The best version of this internship ends with you joining us full-time in a role you helped create, or leaving with the operating system to build your own company.

Goals

• Own one 0-to-1 initiative end to end: hypothesis, research, customer conversations, prototype or pilot, recommendation to ship, iterate, or kill
• Talk to customers, prospects, and operators yourself. You will not outsource the learning
• Build decision-ready memos: one page, a clear recommendation, the evidence behind it
• Use AI agents (including our own platform) to research markets, synthesize calls, and ship work in days instead of weeks
• Join founder conversations on product, GTM, and new bets, and turn them into follow-through
• Document what you tried so the company keeps the learning even if the bet dies

Your profile

• You have already built something that did not exist before: a company, a product, a student venture, a community, a side project people actually used. Show us
• Outstanding academic record in business, economics, engineering, or a comparable field, currently enrolled or recently graduated
• You are AI native: LLMs are already part of how you research, write, and build every day
• High agency under ambiguity: you make progress without a playbook, then write the playbook
• Structured thinking and sharp writing: you can compress a messy problem into one clear page
• Fluent German and English (you will talk to DACH customers and European operators)

Nice to have

• First experience in a startup, VC, consulting, or your own company
• Exposure to B2B SaaS: how software is sold, priced, and adopted
• Comfort with lightweight building: landing pages, automations, prototypes, analyses
