Evotec is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking IT Enterprise Architect to help shape and drive the evolution of our technology landscape. In this strategic role, you will work closely with Business and IT leaders to align technology initiatives with organizational goals, ensuring our IT architecture supports agility, scalability, and innovation. You will play a critical role in defining architectural standards, evaluating emerging technologies, and guiding the successful implementation of enterprise solutions across the organization. Key Responsibilities

1. Support the design and implementation of Evotec’s enterprise architecture roadmap and long-term IT strategy.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions.
3. Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance enterprise-wide IT capabilities and align with strategic goals.
4. Provide guidance and support to IT teams during the analysis and design phases of new projects.
5. Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture frameworks, industry standards, and best practices.
6. Conduct regular assessments of the IT environment to identify areas for optimization, risk mitigation, and innovation.
7. Supervise the use and development of Evotec's existing Enterprise Architecture platform (MEGA Hopex), ensuring data accuracy and alignment with relevant architecture models.

Qualifications

1. A university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect or in a similar role.
3. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to give convincing presentations to diverse audiences at all hierarchical levels.
5. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
6. Knowledge of enterprise architecture methodologies (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) is considered an asset.
7. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS), integration strategies, and cybersecurity principles is a plus.
8. Fluency in German, French, and/or Italian is a plus.
