This is a unique opportunity to be part of the founding team, make your mark from day one, and help shape the success of a new market — all with the support of Lewis Pettitt, our Managing Consultant who fast-tracked his own career to open an office just three years after joining g2.

What you'll be doing:

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: from client briefings to interview feedback
  • Drive business development by identifying and engaging new clients in your market
  • Source, qualify, and present top candidates for open roles
  • Build strong relationships to become a trusted expert in your vertical (e.g. Automation, Automotive, Industrial Machinery, Pharmaceutical)
  • Collaborate with teammates to share market insights and support overall team success
  • Expand g2’s footprint in established sectors while exploring new market opportunities

Non-negotiable Requirements:

  • Desire to be in a sales-based role, previous experience is not essential.
  • Willingness to be in the office full-time.
  • You must live in or be in the process of relocating to Cologne.
  • Must be a commutable distance away from Gertrudenstraße 30-36, 50667 Köln (40-minutes D2D).
  • Must possess the right to work in Germany (g2 Recruitment are not able to provide VISA sponsorship for non-EU citizens)

Interview process:

  • Initial phone call with Talent Acquisition.
  • In-depth interview via MS Teams with Talent Acquisition.
  • Final stage: in-person interview at our Munich/Cologne office, including “day in the life” experience.
